Description
In my Project Development, I structured the project into four distinct parts, a decision that proved instrumental in maintaining organisation and clarity throughout the process. This created a presentation that was easy to navigate and read. Using SWOT analysis for competitor analysis underscored the strategic approach taken, which made it easier to identify aspects to imitate and things to avoid when developing my solution.
Feelings
Im feeling positive after completing the project and observing its overall design. The successful application of SWOT analysis and research-driven decision-making has made me feel more confident going into Commerical Realisation.
Evaluation
Receiving my feedback has shown me the the need for continued development that can be carried through to the Realisation phase. It has highlighted the importance of user testing and connection to competitor analysis in the prototype phase. Positive feedback is noted on text quality and academic writing.
Analysis
Identification of areas for improvement, specifically regarding text boxes and potential over-set text issues. A suggestion to check the Pre-Flight Panel before exporting is given to address the issue. The importance of ongoing research throughout the design process is underscored. An error in the bibliography related to blog posts (missing author information) is highlighted.
Conclusion
The reflective cycle concludes by acknowledging the successful aspects of the project and positive feedback received. Recognition of the need for improvement in specific areas, particularly regarding over-set text and bibliography accuracy, is emphasized.
Action Plan
Address the over-set text issue by checking the Pre-Flight Panel before exporting the document. Ensure consistent and accurate citation in the bibliography, correcting the entries for blog posts. Continue to integrate research throughout all stages of the design process for a more comprehensive and well-supported solution.
